In depth

Verdict

Corky, Law Breaker and Blue Java are three against the field in this tough race to call for punters and the narrow vote is given to Corky. The selection won with a little in hand when beating Seneschal over course and distance last time and although he has a penalty for that win he again has conditions to suit and from what looks a good draw he is taken to win again. Law Breaker rates the main danger on his latest second behind Primo Way but he has risen in the weights for that effort and that may just find him out Blue Java is another that could go well on his latest third behind Barton Sands but his best form is over a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. Master Robbie won this race last year and is another to consider despite top weight but he is becoming hard to win with. Waterside is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he was behind the selection last time and although he is better off at the weights he still has a little to find,. This is a wide open contest and stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Corky.
