        Verdict

        Proper, Recruit and Den's Gift are three against the field in this maiden and the vote is given to Proper. The selection was a fair third behind Marmaida last time out. That form has since been franked and with improvement likely he will be hard to beat. Recruit rates the main danger as he is another that is sure to improve, He lost all chance at the start last time and if he gets away on terms with his rivals here he will be a danger to all. Den's Gift is another that could go well as he is a well bred City On A Hill colt out of 6f winner Romanylei and should be noted in the market. Of the remainder Jack Oliver is a Compton Place gelding out of an unraced mare and is another to note but for the winner we return to Proper.
