In depth
Verdict
John Gosden is a trainer that always has to be respected when he embarks on his raids to this course and his Gold Mask appears to have been found a cracking opportunity to get off the mark tonight; possibly at the main expense of Tennys Gold and Shaaban, who head the list of dangers. Out of the rest: Desert Hawk and Admiral Compton are respected as ones to watch in running and are worthy of bearing in mind for next time if they fare well tonight. However, this does look to be a straightforward task for the progressive Gold Mask, whose close up second to Dubois over course and distance sets the standard that a few of the rest are likely to struggle to meet here. Tennys Gold is open to plenty of improvement and should give the selection the most to do.
