Listed runner-up Sumo Sam failed to land the odds at Newmarket last time and drops back down in trip fitted with a tongue-tie while Empress Wu never figured in the Musidora at York on her reappearance and a hood is applied. Ermesinde floundered on the soft ground in the Cheshire Oaks while Crystallium is the most exposed just ahead of Conservationist. AL ASIFAH is upped in class having beaten little at Haydock on her debut but couldn’t have won any easier and the Frankel filly looks up to this level at least.
