Verdict
This looks tricky but FIRST RULER has the most recent form when winning at Meydan before finishing runner-up in a Listed race in Bahrain in March. Roger Varian has a decent record in this and Peripatetic won a handicap over track and trip last year while Candleford landed a valuable handicap at Royal Ascot last summer and Rousay picked-up a Listed contest over a shorter trip at Salisbury in August.
