      Verdict

BAHIA EMERALD looks on the upgrade having won by four lengths at Yarmouth last week. A 6lb penalty is unlikely to stop Jeremy Noseda's filly from following up here and she'll probably start a strong favourite. C&D winner Celtic Sixpence was in need of the run on her reappearance and better is expected from her, while Hoover's sixth behind Sinfonico last month looks better now given the latter's subsequent victory at Sandown. Obiter Dicta and Aristeia have scope for improvement and could prove best of the remainder.
