In depth

Verdict

The market should provide the best guide to the this opening maiden where many top stables introduce some very well bred sorts. The Richard Hannon yard could hold the key to the contest with two contenders; the once raced Indian Art and the debutant Super Fourteen. Jockey bookings fail to inform us of which is the better fancied but Indian Art was noted doing its best work in the closing stages over the sharp 5f at Kempton last time. With that outing under his belt and the additional furlong we will give Indian Art the nod. Owned by Matthew Green, market support would be very significant. Burning Flute was another noted doing his best work in the closing stages on his debut when he was apprentice ridden and is bred for speed, being by Piccolo. Brian Meehan's juveniles do tend to benefit for one outing and he is interesting. Fareer and Barwell Bridge are two others that make appeal but we will side with experience and the vote goes to Indian Art.
