Verdict
Of those with previous racecourse experience Pigeon Point would appear to be the clear pick on form but was a shade disappointing when only third and a beaten favourite on her racecourse bow. There should be better to come, but Richard Hannon's filly might be worth opposing with one of the newcomers. John Gosden saddles Chalouchi a full sister to a Belmont Stakes winner in the US and any market support for her would be significant. Preference though is for Ian Balding's filly Speed Cop who is a daughter of the demoted Nunthorpe winner Blue Siren and is sure to have bags of pace. John Dunlop saddles Winning Note and Sempergreen with preference for the latter who will be partnered by Pat Eddery.
