        Verdict

        Oslo finished closer at Kempton last time and further progress is expected while Selsey Sizzler posted a better effort at Newmarket back in June and an apprentice’s allowance helps his cause today. But the 1million gns purchase VOLKAN STAR was beaten only a neck over 7f at HQ a fortnight ago by a fellow Royal Lodge entry and Godolphin colt is fancied to go one better in this. The remainder have yet to threaten though Hold Fast looks a likely improver.
