        Verdict

        Luca Cumani took this twelve months ago with the high class Gossamer but it will be a surprise if the yard can stage a follow up with Queen's Lodge who takes a massive rise in class after a narrow debut maiden success late last month. Spinola is progressing along the right lines but may struggle under her penalty for landing the Group 2 Cherry Hinton last time while Illustria is a little more exposed so the vote goes to Geminiani. The daughter of King Of Kings was a most impressive maiden winner over C&D at the Glorious meeting and looks a smart prospect in the making so it would be no surprise is she proved up to the task in hand for her in-form handler.
