    Verdict

Not a race too be confident about with little form in the book and those to have raced potentially capable of significant improvement. Marginal preference goes to Inch Again who has shown enough promise in both starts in similar company to suggest a race of this nature should be within his compass. Prince Holing ran green on his debut before staying on in encouraging fashion to finish fourth in a better heat at Newmarket and is respected while Pont Neuf is progressing along the right lines and is another danger.
