Monaco Rose arrives in good form having won her last two at Catterick and Doncaster. She’s not been penalised for her latest success so a hat-trick is not out of the question but MELODIC MOTION is much less exposed. Ralph Beckett’s Nathaniel filly won over 1m2f at Pontefract at the start of the month so should have no problems staying the longer trip here. Darkroom Angel is unbeaten since joining Philip Hide and she’s already won at the track. But she is one who may have stamina limitations whereas Notice won twice over the trip at Yarmouth last summer. Pacharana rattled up a four-timer last year but looked in the handicapper’s grip when beaten at Pontefract in September and showed little on her reappearance at Beverley.
