      Verdict

      A decent event with Muchea, who had gone two-years without winning, bouncing back to form. Never able to get competitive under a big weight at Ayr, he should be much more at home in this. Omaha City is something of a course specialist, having won here four times, and cannot be left out of calculations, while Duke Of Modena, who has been out of sorts recently, would have a chance if he could re-produce his effort when beating Island Light at Sandown earlier in the season, although there is a suspicion he may not want the ground too fast. Judge Davidson should again take care of Summer View, but neither should be good enough to trouble Pieter Brueghel if he stays. A useful performer over seven-furlongs, he is worth a try at this easy mile and with no obvious front-runner in the field he may be able to dictate his own pace.
