Impressive Royal Ascot winner Duke of Venice can add to that success today, with Mikado and Maraahel set to chase him home. The Godolphin challenger landed the Queen's Vase in emphatic style, beating Two Mile west by six lengths. That was over the two mile trip but he oozed class and should be just as effective over this twelve furlongs. Mikado was a top class two-year-old, winning two of his three races and did well on his return at the Curragh in June finishing a close up fourth behind Mkuzi in a Group three event. Maraahel is venturing into Group company for the first time, but put up a brave performance when chasing home stable companion Admiral off a big weight in a Royal Ascot handicap and should make his presence felt. The best of the others may be Manyana, but Duke Of Venice is a class act and can continue the stables fine run of form.
