Once again, this is competitive with Blue Lullaby getting the nod ahead of Ali Bruce, Dr Synn, Morgan Lewis and Samuel Charles. Blue Lullaby is on the up, as her Brighton win and Bath second this month testify. Maybe a mile slightly stretched her last time and, back at today's trip, she might be worth another chance. Ali Bruce comes here in very good heart and, with his ability to handle switchback tracks not in doubt, he can go well. Dr Synn's best hour to date has come here, over six furlongs, and he too looks set to be competitive. Morgan Lewis looked promising last season and is gradually coming to hand, so he too can be considered, while course and distance winner Omaha City is always likely to go well at a track he clearly likes. Samuel Charles keeps knocking at the door and, based on last year's form, would hold a solid shout, while Vindication looked more like his old self last time, but it's nearly two years since he won. Overall, though, Blue Lullaby gets the call.
