DRUNKEN SAILOR won this a year ago but has a penalty for his victory over Harris Tweed in the Group 3 Glorious Stakes over 1m4f here last month. He's definitely better over this trip, however, and third-placed Jukebox Jury has since landed a Group 2 in France. He can complete the double en-route to the Melbourne Cup. Motrice has done very well without winning since stepped up into pattern race company after her exploits in handicaps. She needs a very strong gallop to be seen at her best and should get that here, though it will also play to the strengths of the selection. The three-year-old Eternal Heart is another to have done well in this sort of company after completing an early season hat-trick. She will need to improve again but has plenty of allowances and can make her presence felt. Akmal was well behind Drunken Sailor at Newbury in May and is better over further.
