Verdict

Whatever It Takes won twice on the Flat in mid-summer and made a bright start over timber at Roscommon where he had Mac Tigue behind. Solaras Exhibition is in superb form having followed an excellent hurdling debut at Tramore with an easy victory there on the Flat. He looks certain to go well but hurdling newcomer SAM BASS may have his measure. Noel Meade's charge hasn't had much racing but beat what looked a strong field of maidens here a month ago and can make a winning start to his new career.
