The Richard Hannon-trained Lucky Spin has done nothing but improve with racing and is fancied to take this latest test in her stride and at least confirm the form with Lucky Pipit, who provides a useful starting point for form book reference. Chic and Phantom Wind are others that will be popular choices if there are indications from the betting ring that they are expected to bounce back from lack-luster efforts so far this season. The drop back a furlong for the first named could bring about some improvement and, as she has plenty of top-class winners in her pedigree, it would be folly to suggest that she does not have more to come. Phantom Wind on the other hand, was far from disgraced at Newbury last time and, as she is still unexposed at the trip, it will be no surprise to see her come good today. That said, the fact that Jimmy Fortune takes the ride on Nyramba is sure to influence a few that follow jockey bookings; especially as her two-year-old form gives her the edge over her stablemate. The daughter of Night Shift has been well held in a couple of Group races of late but should appreciate this ease in grade today. Nevertheless, this course has a habit of providing a few surprise results so, with that in mind, it may be prudent to stick with a filly whose confidence is high. Nothing fits that profile better than Lucky Spin, whose ability to quicken at the end of her races will make her very hard to get past when push comes to shove today.
