David Garrick, a winner on the Flat, only weakened from the last on his hurdling bow in what looked a hot maiden at Navan. Easca Peasca's second places here in March and at Down Royal next time put him right in the frame and he probably needed his run at Downpatrick a couple of weeks ago. SHOWBUSINESS has been placed in three of four starts over timber, the one poor run coming over 2m3f on heavy ground. His latest effort at Navan has worked out and he should be good enough to get off the mark in this moderate opener.
