In depth

Verdict

Flooring Porter has won over the trip and was in good form over the winter. His stable companion Global Racing has no problems staying and his rider's claim is a bonus while Kilkishen can usually be relied on to do his best and is 7lb lower over hurdles than fences despite a couple of fine efforts in recent weeks. ROI DE DUBAI returned after a long break with a fine effort over 2m4f at Bellewstown where he attempted to make all. He wasn't headed until before the last and kept on under pressure so today's longer trip should suit. Winning bumper Gun Merchant is the type to improve over this trip while Mon Storm won four times last year and still looks on a reasonable mark.
