In depth

Verdict

Jamie Codd takes over on Jimmy Jimmy, whose three runs to date have been on testing ground over 2m. Gordon Elliott's charge will be a warm order and will take some beating but BAVARIAN GIRL could offer better value. Richard O'Brien's mare attracted a bit of support on her debut at Roscommon and though no match for the very impressive Beret Rouge had the remainder well beaten and can make her allowance count. Florey Spud was a 33/1 chance at Kilbeggan three weeks ago but ran well enough to suggest he can get into contention while Beagh Castle will be better for his recent comeback at Bellewstown under owner/rider Aine O'Connor.
