In depth

Verdict

Classic Blue, Margot Mine and Fantasy Fighter are the trio to catch the eye here and preference is for CLASSIC BLUE to follow up a last time out success. Margot Mine has been busy recently and was due to run here on Thursday, and she comes here in good heart after a fine course and distance success, before running second at Lingfield. A return to her winning track looks sure to suit, and despite a five pound rise in her rating she should be respected, and obviously note should be taken of how she fared on Thursday. Fantasy Fighter is well handicapped after a good second last time, as he runs off the same mark here. However, he does not live up to his name as he seems to be reluctant at the finish and he is taken on. Classic Blue was winning for the second time when scoring at Kempton last time. That was over nine furlongs and it was achieved with authority at Kempton. He has yet to prove himself over this shorter trip, but he has shown his liking for the track with a good second on his previous run, and Classic Blue looks worth following.
