Serhaaphim, Blushing Hilary and Tapaella catch the eye here with SERHAAPHIM the selection. There is a case for believing that Serhaaphim may have improved since last appearing on the Flat a year ago, as he has won twice over hurdles since. He is a pound lower than when placed on that occasion and could be well treated. Blushing Hilary has only one selling hurdle success to her credit in 32 starts, and although beaten in a seller two starts ago, was a decent second in her last start. That was three months ago however, and she may not be good enough here. Tapaella has one win to her credit in France but has barely hinted at it over here with a remote fourth last time the best she can offer. Serhaaphim can take this finale.
