Verdict
A good little contest here and with a 3lb pull for three-parts-of-a-length Buster Hyvonen can turn the tables on his recent Kempton conqueror Calculating, while Rollin 'N Tumblin is very much respected. Calculating got first run on Buster Hyvonen in that recent Kempton contest over the same trip as today's and deserved to win on that occasion. He is in tremendous form for Mark Usher and another win would be no shock. However, Buster Hyvonen has not been on the go for so long and may just be fresh enough to reverse the placings over a trip he relishes. Rollin 'N Tumblin is another thorough stayer who races from the same mark as when runner up at Lingfield last time and will not be far away. Pocket Too is to be respected from a mark 5lb higher than his last win but he's gone off the boil a little over hurdles, while neither Velvet Heights not Salute can be ruled out with lumps of confidence. A tough contest to fathom then and the suggestion is Buster Hyvonen.
