Verdict
MISTER NEW YORK is a tentative selection to win this pending on how he comes out of his Friday night engagement at Wolverhampton. Red Somerset and Flipando could emerge as the biggest dangers. Mister New York looks to have got to grips with the mile trip over which he floundered in the past. Success on Friday night would bring him to a mark in the 90s off which he will need to find more but his much improved form of late means that is not impossible. Red Somerset won a claimer last time and more is required here. He beat a 64-rated rival there and this provides a stiffer test. Flipando has yet to score on the all-weather but the booking of Jamie Spencer is eye-catching. Hinton Admiral has taken a sizeable drop in the ratings and cheek-pieces are now applied. Resplendent Nova and Lancetto have place claims but Mister New York is given the vote.
