Verdict
A small but competitive field goes to post for this claimer and the principals look to be Football Crazy, The Judge and Ovigo and we will take a chance on The Judge. The gelding from the Paul Cole yard has been in fair form of late and now that he is dropped back to this grade with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Football Crazy rates the main danger he was a fair third behind Eaton last time out and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Ovigo is also worthy of respect he is one of the least exposed and he won well last time out, however that was over a shorter trip and he may find this distance stretching his stamina. Of the remainder Bouncing Bowdler is also taking a drop in grade but his best efforts have come with more cut in the ground so we are happy to stick with The Judge.
