Verdict
A competitive contest gets proceedings under way with many in the field open to plenty of improvement but the principals look to be Alsifaat, Chanterelle, Sunisa and Esteemed Lady and we will take a chance on Chanterelle. The filly from the John Dunlop yard was a good fourth on her debut behind Kunda, she has reportedly improved significantly for that run and with conditions in her favour she will be hard to beat. Al Sifaat rates the main danger she was a good second on her debut behind Bay Tree and is another that is sure to improve. Sunisa is also worth of respect she showed enough on her debut to suggest she could win a race of this nature and is from a yard in top form so any market confidence should be noted. Of the remainder Esteemed Lady is a well bred sort that catches the eye on breeding and is another worth noting in the market but she may come on for this her debut run so we are happy to stick with Chanterelle.
