In depth
Verdict
Another cavalry charge in which General Smith, Loch Inch and Sir Sandrovitch have the right credentials to score. General Smith produced a decent effort to finish second to Byo at Warwick and on that evidence, he looks just about the percentage call. He was drawn out in the carpark at Chester last week and that run should be forgotten. Stable companion, Loch Inch went much free to post last time out but is still capable of winning if things fall right for him today. Sir Sandrovitch undoubtedly has a touch of class about him and returns after a short break. He does have a decent draw and if freshened up, there are possibilities. Sholto is an infrequent winner but must be watched in the market for any signs of confidence. In a tricky finale, we will side with General Smith to land the prize.
