They may all have to follow THE BEAR home and he's preferred to Musical Bridge and Kyzer Chief amongst others. The selection has two course and distance wins to his name with a third over six furlongs and he was back in the winners' enclosure again last month when landing a seller at Musselburgh. A 5lb rise is a little harsh but he may still be up to the task at this level. Musical Bridge also comes into this race in winning form and is well handicapped on the best of his old form despite a 3lb rise for that success. He was wearing blinkers for the first time that day and has live claims if they have the same effect second time around. Kyzer Chief was beaten a long way that day but has claims on the pick of his form although he doesn't win very often. Cayman Fox won a claimer here last year but may just need this whereas Sandwith should have come on for his return and is on a winning mark but preference is for The Bear.
