Verdict

Corinthia Knight beat a subsequent winner when getting off the mark on Turf at Pontefract but he’s only run on ground this soft once before and last year’s winner TARBOOSH looks to have been laid out for a repeat. He was a good third in a Listed race at Haydock before missing the break at Newcastle and has had wind surgery since. Marnie James will handle the ground but has been out of sorts since a third at York in May and the three-year-olds have a lot to find on these terms.
