Verdict

There are three recent winners in this but SET IN STONE looks the one to concentrate on. A regular visitor here, he justified favouritism on his latest foray across the Irish Sea and should again beat Equidae and Alexandrakollontai. Spirit Of Sarwan has won his last two over track and trip and Alfa McGuire held off a subsequent winner at Ayr and has only been raised 3lb. Iron Mike showed promise on soft going last year but he’s not reproduced that form on quicker ground this season.
