Verdict

The market will guide us here, with the eight runners only having had only seven races between them, including debutants but we will take a chance on the more experienced of the bunch, ROCK OF LOVE but also consider the claims of Whispered Times and Unshakable Will. Mark Johnston's colt showed markedly improved form when stepping up to 6f for the first time at Yarmouth when last seen. He finished the runner up there and the extra yardage clearly suited him so a win here amongst lesser experienced company would be no surprise. Whispered Times made an encouraging debut over 5f at Doncaster last time. This slight step up here shouldn't be of a concern and he looks capable of making the frame. Unshakable Will looks best of the debutants. Bryan Smart has his string in good heart recently and his two-year-old should do well here. Richard Fahey's Sands Of Dee looks best of the remainder and although running very green last time, he looks capable of more.
