Verdict

LEGAL EAGLE has been in good form without finding a win so far this term but he is put forward to score here at the main expense of Aahaygirl and Secret Dubai. The Dandy Nicholls-trained selection had been going well this year until finishing tenth of 17 on his last outing. The ground was heavy though and proved difficult for a gelding that does best on quicker ground. The going here should be of preference to the four-year-old who has finished the runner up in three of his last four starts and he looks capable of going one better. Aahaygirl put in an encouraging effort last time, that said, it was the fourth time this year she has below her official mark. She remains one to tread carefully with but should do well amongst this relatively lowly company. Secret Dubai has looked a little inconsistent recently and is a little hard to predict. The conditions here should suit the colt and he is expected to be thereabouts at the post. The rest offer very little on the bare form.
