Verdict

This looks to be the most competitive race on the card; TANGERINE TREES has been in great form since returning to action last month and is put forward to score ahead of Atlantic Beach and Maison Dieu. The Bryan Smart-trained selection's sole victory came over six furlongs last autumn but he has turned in some decent efforts at the last two attempts finishing runner up in what looked to be his stiffest test to date last time. Atlantic Beach comes from the in-form yard of Richard Fahey and built on the promise he showed on his reappearance, when running well at Haydock last time. He is still lightly raced and there should be better to come again. Maison Dieu has placed among the minors at the last three attempts and a similar finish is expected of him today.
