    Verdict

Divine Spirit is going the right way, and can prevail at the expense of Seven No Trumps, Trinculo and Katie Boo to name but a few. The stalls are situated in the centre of the course for this sprint handicap, and they could well split into two groups, so a chance is taken with one drawn low in the shape of Divine Spirit, out to get the losses back after his defeat at Warwick recently. The Michael Dods inmate found the going a bit too soft that day, and although he does not win too often, he has shown signs of a return to form of late, and is given another chance. Seven No Trumps, drawn in stall six, beat Trinculo narrowly in a Chepstow claimer last time, but is slightly worse off at the weights now, and if there is any pace on the far side, the latter would have a shout, as would Katie Boo who has run a couple of good races in defeat despite racing on unfavourably softer ground than she really likes. The market should be noted for the remainder, with preference still for Divine Spirit.
