In depth

Verdict

Not the worst claimer ever and preference is for Little Jimbob who is favoured at the weights; Princelywallywogan and Chookie Hamilton make it to the shortlist. The selection comes here on the back of a win at Carlisle in a similar contest. That was on quicker ground but he has won on softer ground in the past and he can be fancied to run a big race this evening. Pendragon is unexposed after just two starts and needs respect, whilst Princelywallywogan has been running with credit lately. He takes a drop in class today and his trainer does very very well when running his horses at this level. Chookie Hamilton won well last time and is evidently in good nick at the moment, a comment that doesn't really apply to Jordan's Light or Evelith Regent. A competitive heat, with Little Jimbob given the nod.
