Verdict
Tantric has been in good form on the all-weather of late and has previously scored a third on soft ground when with Sean Woods. However, he is worse off than he would be in a handicap and is passed over today. Ela D'Argent drops into selling company for the first time for Mark Johnston but on pedigree, she should be able to handle the ground. She looks well treated at the conditions and may be capable of scoring if running up to her form. Top Nolans ran his best race for some time at Carlisle on soft ground. Finmar is a frustrating maiden from the Perratt stable and will probably run into a place again.
