      Verdict

      Jim Goldie runs a couple of recent winners with Graces Quest scoring at Carlisle last month and WICKYWICKYWHEELS (NAP) winning over a longer trip here five days ago. The latter also scored over track and trip in May with Crystal Guard behind and is taken to defy a penalty in this lower grade. Red Bond posted one of his better efforts when placed at Ayr last time ahead of Granite City Doc while the maiden Russian Virtue has switched yards.
