Verdict
Undeterred could be the answer to this tricky handicap with Blackheath, Pieter Brueghel and Loyal Tycoon the others that could go well. The selection is well-drawn and is in decent form at the moment. He ran well from a bad draw when fourth behind Complication at Pontefract, and as the draw has been kinder to him here he looks the one to beat. Pieter Brueghel won well at York on Saturday but he has a penalty for that win and has also got a dreadful draw which makes him opposable. Loyal Tycoon found trouble in running at Ascot last time, but he does go well on this track so is one to consider. However, he is badly drawn here and he remains a little high in the weights so a place looks the best he can hope for. Blackheath ran well behind Artie last time and is another that could go well, but he is arguably better over five furlongs these days. This is a race where many would have chances on their best form, but for the winner we return to Undeterred.
