      Verdict

      SOMEWHERE SECRET is back on a winning mark and went close at Ayr recently with Lydiate Lady and Northern Society behind. Any rain would be welcome for Michael Mullineaux’s charge but it was also soft going when Lady Celia won here last month and she was beaten off today’s mark at Ayr earlier this week. Groundworker won twice here last year and will be sharper for a recent outing but Southwell winner Melgate Magic returns from a lengthy absence and Garnock Valley’s best effort so far came in testing ground.
