In depth

Verdict

Wells Lyrical is given the vote to land it on his seventh racecourse appearance. Third last time on his handicap debut behind two well-handicapped sorts, he has showed distinct promise in maidens over a variety of distances and this additional furlong should suit. Buddhist Monk has been campaigned over inadequate trips judging by his running style but will need to improve to land this. The well-bred Garra Molly shaped with real promise first time out but could well be a filly that might need more time to come to herself. It is hard to make a strong case for the remainder and Wells Lyrical is the selection.
