        Verdict

        All of Cold Harbour's three career victories have come on the all-weather, the last two at Southwell. But he didn't perform badly on his only Turf start and today's easier conditions should help. DEW POND wins his share of races and arrives here with a 4lb penalty for last week's victory on good to soft at Thirsk. Danny Redmond's claim takes care of most of the extra so a quick double looks on the cards. Pammi is a soft ground specialist so further rain would put her in the picture and she's won here as has Judith Gardenier, though the latter has hardly picked her feet up in her most recent starts. Ninepin Bowler is still a maiden and his best run came at Newcastle.
