In depth

Verdict

Come Out Fighting sets the standard for the rest here and is taken to get the better of Wig Wam Bam and Midnight Pearl. The selection looked like a winner waiting to happen when he put up a cracking effort on his debut to finish a close third behind Brandywell Boy at Thirsk. He is an imposing colt and providing he doesn't bounce he should be too good for the rest. Wig Wam Bam was a little disappointing in a nursery last time but she has shown enough in her previous runs to make her a leading contender today. Midnight Pearl will have to improve from what she has shown in her two previous starts to get competitive here. She is not the biggest but she is from a top yard so she is not one to dismiss lightly. Kirkby's Belle may be the best of the remainder but for the winner we will stick with Come Out Fighting who gets the confident vote.
