In depth

Verdict

Stitcher showed a modicum of improvement when ahead of Burning Cash at Doncaster and an apprentice takes 7lb off his back today. But TINOCHIO was only beaten a length when fourth at Pontefract on his introduction despite running green and Kevin Ryan’s colt looks the one to side with. He’s preferred to stablemate Two Cop Bop but other newcomers looks more of a threat with Hope Probe, a half-brother to a host of winners including the smart sprinter Lord Riddiford, making more appeal than Boogie Time and Attaboy Roy.
