        Verdict

        Lathom won off a similar mark at Ayr last year while stablemate Manshood has undergone wind surgery since last in action. But a couple of these have recent runs under their belts including Bellevarde, a runner-up at Chepstow last week, while GLORY FIGHTER (NAP) was beaten only a neck at Newcastle on his first outing for Iain Jardine’s yard. The latter looks sure to be winning soon off his current mark and gets the nod. Red Stripes was in good form at Southwell earlier in the year but Alsvinder is more interesting returning to this venue for the first time since completing a double here in 2018.
