    In depth

    Verdict

Jack Blane has been placed here three times but was due to run at the track yesterday and a second outing on soft going within 24 hours may be too much. Little Pippin won over a slightly longer trip here 11 days ago and has only been raised 2lb whereas Optima Petamus has gone up 3lb for a short-head defeat by Island Song here on the same day. Seanie looks the best of the Irish raiders and Allux Boy has been knocking on the door have attracted market support in recent starts. HIGHWAYMAN finished behind Optima Petamus and Jack Blane here last time but was given plenty to do on that occasion. He’s back on a winning mark and could be the value in a modest contest.
