In depth

Verdict

Edgar Allan Poe, Flying Focus and Crazy Tornado were all scheduled to run here yesterday so their participation may be in doubt. IDEAL CANDY has no form on this surface but she’s been in good form all summer and, after a short break, may be ready to resume winning ways – she gets on really well with Gemma Tutty. Bigdabog could go well with Elisha Whittington taking a further 7lb off his feather weight while Compass Hill has run well on the all-weather and in France since finishing third on soft going at Haydock in the spring. Blue Medici has had wind surgery since last seen but has been knocking on the door this year and a first win can’t be far away.
