In depth

Verdict

Five of the last seven winners have hailed from the Johnstons’ yard though Chuck Taylor will need major improvement from a debut fifth at Lingfield. CATCH THE PADDY is preferred despite returning a beaten favourite when second at Leicester as the winner is now rated 89 and Kevin Ryan’s charge should find this easier. Lord Sam's Castle went close over track and trip on his debut and is another to consider while Lumacho may improve in first-time headgear.
