In depth

Verdict

Frisky looks no nearer opening her account despite a string of placed efforts while Phoenix Beach improved to finish third at Ripon but that was over a longer trip. ALFRED COVE finished behind the latter last time having shown early pace before fading in the closing stages. This minimum trip should suit David O’Meara’s colt and he gets the vote. Bonito Cavalo is a brother to three winning stablemates and a half-brother to another while High Opinion is related to a couple of Group 3 winners.
