Verdict

Oskar Denarius shrugged off a 6lb rise in the weights to win easily at Windsor last time but is upped a couple of grades today. Gworn had First Sitting back in sixth when scoring at Ayr and attempts this longer trip for the first time while Polarisation has done all his winning this year over longer distances including 1m6f at York last week. Innocent Touch is usually thereabouts without being quite good enough off his current mark so another chance goes to SHERIFF OF NAWTON (NAP), who has been competing in tougher handicaps since winning at Doncaster in May and has a better chance in this.
